Customer Payments

We do not accept direct payments of any kind at the desks (in-person, over the phone, or via chat) - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Patrons should be directed to their library account to make payments. However, they cannot be allowed to use our desk computers to login and make payments. Direct them to the 1st Floor if they need to access a computer.

A customer provided me with their credit/debit card information - what do I do?

If a patron provides credit/debit card information unsolicited via email or chat, notify the systems queue and billing queue staff immediately. 

  • This can be done by making an Ask Us ticket, which will be directed to Systems and Billing.
  • The Systems and Billing staff will take steps to make sure the information is erased and secure.
