Inserting/Removing Microfilm

Pull on the front handle of the machine to open it.
Insert the spool on the left coil so that the film rolls clockwise. 
Once the film is fixed securely, close the machine and press the LOAD button in Powerscan.

Place the fiche on the glass squarely and press LOAD in PowerScan 3000.

1) The majority of computers at the microfilm/microfiche desks are not connected to the internet or a printer. Patrons need to bring their own flash drive to save any scans they complete.
  • The exception to this rule is the older model microfilm/microfiche machine at WSEL, which does take dimes.
