Course eBooks can be accessed via the VitalSource Platform within D2L, which is found under the Content tab for each course in either the Pay One Price or Inclusive Access module. Every student (graduate or undergraduate) has a link to this platform within D2L.
For Pay One Price, students either have access to all materials (stay opted in) or no materials (opting out).
September 7th, 2025 - Refer students to the UA Bookstore.
If students opt-out, they can opt back in until their course's refund deadline and vice-versa.
After successfully opting out, they should receive a credit on their Bursar's account within 7-10 days.
Inclusive Access looks the same but is for the following:
It is organized by course and opt-outs are by course, not all-or-nothing like Pay One Price.

Students can access library eBooks via the Course Ebooks finding tool on the UAL website
All students and instructors can search by title, course, instructor and term.
Course eBooks can be located within D2L under the Content tab for each course.
Within the Content tab, books can be located in the Pay One Price and Inclusive Access module for both undergraduate and graduate students:
**Please note that even when students opt of of Pay One Price and Inclusive Access, they will still be able to access our library ebooks in the same location!
The link to the Course eBooks website and search tool will also appear in most “Library Guide” tabs for courses.
