Nexis Uni Company Dossiers act as profiles with access to basic info, financials, news, reports, legal cases, and more. Go to Menu (upper left corner, next to Nexis Uni name), then click on Company Dossier. Adjust the drop-down field to search either by company name or stock ticker. If one does not work for your company (e.g., Ford's stock ticker F produces no relevant results), try the other. Once inside Company Dossier search, never click on "Return to Nexis Uni" or the waffle icon in the left corner. Always use the small links in the right corner for Edit search, New search, or Return to results.

Company financial information
There are a number of sources available for company financials for publicly traded companies. Fewer sources are available for private companies, and when you do find figures, those are less likely to be exact figures and are often estimates.
All public companies, U.S. and foreign, are required to file registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms through EDGAR. Anyone can access and download this information for free. For annual financial statements, select a company's 10-K. If you aren't sure which form you need, use the link for SEC Forms List (PDF versions) and look at the form descriptions.
Covers both private and public companies. Browse companies under the Company Research tab. Each profile contains market share and competitive analysis for each industry within which the company operates.
