Estelle Lutrell Papers, 1915-1947 AZ055

Born in Boston in 1870, Estelle Lutrelle served as librarian and professor of English at the UA until 1922 when she became the University Librarian. This collection includes correspondence, histories and compilations by Lutrell primarily relating to UA history.

Church Women United in Tucson (CWUT) is a non-denominational organization which began in the late 1940s dedicated to promoting world peace and justice through community programs, events, and celebrations. Materials include administrative documents, publications including member obituaries, the CWTU newsletter, news clippings, press releases, programs and photographs.
