How to get help with your review

We will strive to meet or exceed expectations through excellent performance. To ensure a positive and successful workflow, we use an online process. We will review your request and schedule a virtual consultation.

The importance of timely communication
A successful consultation depends on regular communication between the librarian and the research team. The librarian supporting evidence synthesis work commits to responding promptly (usually within 1-2 weeks) to requests and being clear about the scope and timeline for requested work. In turn, research teams should consult with the librarian up-front about the overall timeline for the project (SRs require a minimum of a year to complete and can take 2 years or more) and communicate regularly with the librarian. If the librarian receives no communication from the research team for 6 months, we will decommission the project. If the research team wishes to resume work with the librarian, they will need to submit a new request.

A successful, publishable project requires adherence to standard processes for evidence synthesis work. The librarian will only support projects that adhere to appropriate, established processes.

Criteria
In order to receive help from a librarian, the following criteria must be met:

  1.  You must be affiliated with the University of Arizona (student, staff, faculty) and not affiliated with the health sciences.
  2. A reasonable timeline for the project to be completed.

If you meet the criteria, please fill out the request form below or click on this link.
