New Resource: PharmacyLibrary
American Pharmacist Association (APhA) PharmacyLibrary is now available through the library. It contains resources for faculty and students that include eBooks, case studies, learning modules and self assessment reviews including NAPLEX.
Please note the following:
Note this important login information from APhA: "There is an issue with EZProxy and Recaptcha and users are currently unable to create a personal account while validating through EZProxy. A workaround for this is creating an account either before accessing via EZProxy or creating one on APhA’s main website: https://pharmacist.com. We are working with our developers on this issue."
Changes to accessing Micromedex
There has been changes to accessing the database Micromedex through the library's database list. Regardless of location, on- or off-campus, accessing Micromedex through the library's website will require your UANetID and password to log on.
Please note the following:
Restrictions on use:
Micromedex is to be used for educational and training purposes only. The UAs Micromedex Academic Program license does not allow for clinical use.
The Micromedex Academic Program license does not allow use by UA Designated Campus Colleagues (DCCs). UA College of Pharmacy community preceptor DCCs are included in this restriction.
There is also no VPN access to Micromedex by UA users.
Current passwords for the mobile apps are available from this database under the Mobile Application Access tab at upper right.
