Objectives:

a) Compare the differences between different types of data repositories (e.g. institutional, disciplinary, funder repositories, etc.)

b) Understand the basic features and benefits of ReDATA

c) Gain an understanding of how to deposit a dataset in ReDATA

d) Get a behind-the-scenes look at the data curation process

e) Learn how data and source code are prepared for publication

• Presentation slides: Data Repositories and ReDATA. This session was a double feature beginning with a presentation by Fernando Rios about data repositories. In the second segment Hafeez Adepoju provided a deep dive on data curation.
