Description: Using the DMPTool to write Data Management Plans (focus on NIH)

Time: 1 hour

Objectives: Explain and demonstrate the functionality of the DMPTool and its benefits; Learn how to use the DMPTool to write a NIH Data Management Plan and then evaluate the DMP with an experienced mentor. 

Post-session assignment:

Create a NIH DMSP based on a research project in your lab using the DMPTool and submit the plan for feedback.

Mentors will schedule a 1:1 meeting with ambassadors to review their DMSP submissions
