Task Breakdown

To check the Learning Studio instructor podium, turn on the small control panel on the right side of the computer. Select Active Learning - Instructor PC. Wake up the computer by jiggling the mouse and hitting the keyboard. All monitors in the room should respond. If not, let staff know and they will put in a helpline ticket.
Use a microfiber cloth and screen cleaner from supply counter to wipe down the touch screen of the KIC scanner/microform reader/WEPA printer. Use disinfectant wipe to clean touch points.
Wipe down desktop keyboards and computer mouse with disinfectant wipes, clean monitor with screen cleaner and microfiber towel. Throw out papers and any trash left on tables. Gloves are available in reimaging station filing cabinet.
First, get the "Tables in Tech Toolshed" caddy from the cart by Heidi's desk. Ensure you are at the correct table (numbers in link below). Use microfiber towel and screen cleaner to clean technology (spray screen cleaner on towel NOT tech), use alcohol wipes to clean keyboards and touch points. Once all tech is clean, spray cotton towel with wood cleanser and clean/wipe down tables (including under the tech). For Table 3, also clean 3D prints and trays in wooden box. Take dirty USBs to Main tech storage and use the USB cleaner to wipe flash drives. Do not put used USBs in staff computers. Email OpsStudentManagers@lib.arizona.edu if low on flash drives.
When opening Main 2nd floor: 1) Change the date on the culture pass stamp to 1 week from today. 2) Go to today's day of the week culture pass folder and pull out the rack cards. 3) Check in the rack cards at the desk and return them to the rack.
At opening, unplug the tablets from their charging cords and plug the black scanner into the tablet. Be sure to have the l-angle of the adaptor facing up so the weight of the tablet is not resting on its cord. At closing, use screen cleaner to clean the screen, unplug the scanner from the tablet and charge the tablet on the PC reimaging shelf. Connect to the labeled type-c chargers, and leave the tablet's scanner resting on the tablet. Do not lose the scanner!

Log into the Main 1st Floor Student chat through LibAnswers. Password is located in Stache. Pull up the Main 1st Floor LibInsight Form, which is bookmarked on every computer. You can find it under "Desk Tracker- Main 1st Floor" or "Main ASK US Desk - 1st Floor"
Open the pocket doors on both sides. From the control panel in B254, enter code 1885 using the stylus and select enter. Have partner in B252 press and hold the button on the other side. Both icons on the control panel should show as green check marks. Ensure there are no obstacles in the way that the wall will hit as it moves. Press and hold either the 'open' or 'close' button in the top left corner. Either party can release the button and the wall will stop moving. Close and lock pocket doors when wall is in ending position. Instructions with photos here:
Reorganize and tidy the reimaging stations, including detangling cords and resetting the reimaging tracking cards and bookings slips.
At opening, plug in and turn on equipment to charge and neatly place the cords underneath the tables. At closing, unplug all equipment and power off laptops and ipads.
Walk first and second floor and remove whiteboards from study rooms. Arrange whiteboards neatly at ends of tables, do not pile them up.
For Main 2 Student: From reception storage on Main 2, bring out two CatCard signs. One is placed at each end of the doors so that students entering can see them through doors, and students leaving can see reminder about coming back. During closing tasks, please return these signs to reception storage. On Main 1 the signs are closed and placed against the wall at west door and ILC door. Push in chairs and readjust tables around the Learning Studios to match the layout depicted on the door. See correct layouts for Main Library here.

If the room is in complete disarray, BEFORE RESETTING take photos to document and send them in one email to both roomrequests@lib.arizona.edu and OpsStudentManagers@lib.arizona.edu with the subject line "Learning Studio Reset Follow-up." Additionally, if Facilities follow-up is needed (spilled food/drink, inoperable tech, etc.) inform staff who will submit a Helpline ticket. Reset Learning Studio to the best of your ability in this case.
Restock the pamphlets and handouts on the back counter and service desk with refills from the storage cabinets. Email Opsstudentmanagers@lib.arizona.edu if we are low on any pamphlets or handouts in the storage cabinets.
Restock the supply table with whiteboard markers, erasers, masks, earplugs, tissues, disinfectant wipes, whiteboard spray, scratch paper, etc. Do not put ballpoint pens on the table. Ensure employee desks have sufficient supplies.
Refill Call Number Location guides on each floor. Guides are kept in a holder near the elevators on each floor and at each Ask Us Desk and near patron self check-out computers.
Look through tech storage and rewrap any cables or laptop chargers that are loose or not properly stored. If it is Sun-Thurs 3:15pm - 11:30pm you can ask April for velcro straps to wrap cords.
In Alma, go to Admin - Manage Sets - Public Sets. Type in 'AIS' and find the corresponding set for the day of the week. Click the 'Content.' button on the right, where you can then export the list. Return inventory count to Tech Lending Lead at aistech@lib.arizona.edu.
Take USB from 2nd floor reception storage keybox. Verify the clicker is working, the microphone is pointing towards the back wall, the cart is in the blue tape square, and the red One Button is on the floor. Plug the USB into the righthand side of the control panel and stand on the tape marker to verify the camera is in focus. If anything is wrong with the space, do not troubleshoot yourself and contact aistech@lib.arizona.edu. Once per week we need to restart the computer in the One Button Studio. Grab the podium key, number 39, from the lockbox on the 2nd floor. Open the podium and restart. For full directions see One Button Studio Instructions. Remember to relock the podium.
Go through Prusa filament tubs. Find the label on each spool and verify PLA and PETG are sorted correctly.
Organize and straighten laptops bags on the racks in the Tech Toolshed. Check to make sure bags are empty and remove any stray items. If any bags are missing their shoulder/crossbody strap, you can find them in the blue bin on the laptop shelf. ALL BAGS MUST HAVE A SHOULDER/CROSSBODY STRAP ATTACHED. If more bags and/or straps are needed you can find them in B105, the door passcode in is Stache under Storage: A122 (COW), B105 (Equipment).
Get the Ops Student Tablet from the cart by Heidi's desk. Click the link to open the Supply Inventory survey. You will need to sign in with your NetID. Check all millwork cabinets and room B238 (door keypad code is in Stache under "Access Codes: Meeting Rooms & AIS Staff space" ) when counting supplies. Complete for both Main 1 and Main 2. Make sure to log out of your NetID once you are finished. Return the tablet to the cart and plug it back in to charge.
At the three Tech Toolshed tables, make sure tech is organized and set to the home screen. Ensure charging cables are tucked away and the locking mechanisms are intact.
Unbox and stock supplies on Main 1 and Main 2. Please make sure all supplies are stored with others of the same type and that the cabinets and bins are kept organized and neat. If more supplies are needed, check the B238 supply closet and restock (door keypad code is in Stache under "Access Codes: Meeting Rooms & AIS Staff space"). Check inside each cart to ensure the correct number of laptops are present. Totals are labeled on the inside door of each cart. Ensure the laptop number (located on the outside of each laptop) is in its corresponding numbered space on the shelf. Email aistech@lib.arizona.edu if count does not match and include the missing laptop number(s). The code for the COW lock is located in Stache under Cow Locations and Lock Combinations.
Clean and remove whiteboards from unoccupied and unlocked study rooms. Place at ends of tables. Clean off whiteboards in study rooms. Discard non-working markers and damaged erasers, replace with new ones (3-4 different colored markers and 1-2 erasers per room), pick up stray markers and erasers from tables and use them to resupply study rooms and/or put extras back on supply table.
