What will happen to users' Interlibrary Loan account?
All UA affiliates will still have access to Interlibrary Loan services. However, you’ll no longer need to log into a separate ILLiad account. Your Interlibrary Loan requests will now be available directly in your Library Account. Any items you’ve requested or checked out from both the UA Libraries and Interlibrary Loan will now be easily accessible in one convenient location.
What do users do with current item/s checked out with ILLiad?
Patrons can continue to keep items they currently have checked out until the due date.
What happened to users' Interlibrary Loan request that I placed in the previous system (Iliad) before May 19th?
Requests submitted in the previous system before May 19th will still be fulfilled by our Interlibrary Loan department. You do not need to resubmit your request.
What will happen to users' Interlibrary Loan request history in my ILLiad account?
This list will not be migrated to your Library Account. If you’d like to save it, we recommend taking a screenshot before May 19th. Most Mac and PC computers have built-in tools to capture an image of your screen.
How do users place an Interlibrary Loan request now? (as of May 19th)
Interlibrary Loan requests can still be made through the UA library website.
You can view all your requested Interlibrary Loan items and their expected delivery dates directly in your Library Account.
How will retirees place requests?
Retirees will be able to use their UA netID credentials to access interlibrary loan, following implementation of Rapido.
