Welcome to the University of Arizona's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Plus, Two-Spirit (LGBTQ+2S) LibGuide. Its goal is to raise awareness of issues facing LGBTQ+2S people on campus and to provide resources for queer students, faculty, and staff. We also hope it offers strategies and ideas that future educators can use in their teaching careers.
This guide recognizes and celebrates the profound contributions of queer students, staff, and faculty to the University of Arizona community. By offering curated content on LGBTQ+2S culture, history, scholarship, and identity, we aim to help those who identify as LGBTQ+2S find resources and community, and to provide those outside of the community with educational tools to inform their allyship.

LGBTQ+2s (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and Two Spirit) Resource Center
The LGBTQ+2s Resource Center serves as a hub for many of the LGBTQ+2s initiatives on campus with a priority to centering QTPOC (Queer and Trans People of Color) students. The space provides students with a connecting point for LGBTQ+ people and programming. Hundreds of students study, eat their lunch, host student organization meetings, and socialize here—it is their home away from home!
The LGBTQ+2s Resource Center works to build, sustain, and strengthen a safe, inclusive, and open environment for students, faculty, staff, appointed professionals, alumni, parents, and guests of all gender and sexual identities. The LGBTQ+2s RC focuses on building an anti-colonial, anti-racist space and shaping programs that center students the most oppressed, working to meet their physical, educational, and emotional needs. Sign up for the center newsletter by using this form.
