Challenge Problem

Now that you have completed all the lessons on Topical Search, think about a topic that you have been researching or helping someone with recently. How might you approach it using Scopus?

Try the following for your chosen topic:

  • Set up and run your search.
  • Refine your results or sort them by citations or relevance.
  • Edit your search query if you are not getting the results you are looking for.
  • View the citations and cited references for a sub-set of your results list.
  • Save your search and set up an alert to be notified of new results.
  • Export your results to a reference manager.
  • Use the Analyze search results tool to identify trends or export an image of a chart you might like to access or include in your research at a later stage.
