Finding resources about Anna Piaggi

  1. Use the Library Search box on the UA Libraries site home page.
  2. Search the phrase “Anna Piaggi” (must include the quotation marks on both ends) as a keyword search.
  3. Limit the results to "full-text online" using the left panel list of “adjust my search” options. You could also limit by language if desired but don't limit by publication type.
  4. The results show that the UAL provides access to articles such as

  Grazia D’Annunzio. (2022). I Dress, Therefore I Am: A Journey Through Anna Piaggi’s Unmistakable Persona. Zonemoda Journal (Online), 12(1), 75–88. https://doi.org/10.6092/issn.2611-0563/14885

Di Trocchio. (2017). Anna Piaggi and Australia: the eye has to travel. Fashion Theory, 21(3), 279–290. https://doi.org/10.1080/1362704X.2016.1159873

Diderich. (2012). Milan Remembers Anna Piaggi. WWD, 204(63), 9.

5. You can also go directly to Women's Wear Daily (WWD) and search the phrase “Anna Piaggi” although if you don’t limit to document title and/or “all abstract & summary text”, you’ll get a lot of results where Anna Piaggi is not the main focus such as the article about Paloma Picasso’s wedding in 1978 (“Red-letter wedding day: the bride wore red”) where it mentions how Anna Piaggi’s “nickel-plated helmet with white bird of paradise feathers burst into flames as she breezed by a fireplace loaded with lit candelabra”!!
