Crisis Stabilization Centers are safe places where individuals experiencing a mental health crisis can voluntarily go for immediate support. These centers offer short-term care, typically up to 24 hours, in a comfortable environment with reclining chairs instead of beds. Services may include assessment, stabilization, and connection to ongoing support, helping individuals and their crisis teams determine the next steps.
A warm line is not intended for emergency situations, but offer free and confidential mental health support by phone service. Warm lines are typically staffed by volunteers or by peer support operators who have personal experience with mental health disorders.
