There are several resources that the library subscribes to that house collections of e-books as well other material. Many of these collections provide the option to browse books by category, search by topic and search for exact titles of books.
You may search for known book titles or search by topic by using the Library Search box off the library homepage. Library search is the library discovery tool that can be used to search for a variety of library materials including books, journals, articles, video, dissertations and more.
If you have a specific book title you want to see if the library provides access too, use Library Search by searching by title. Dropdown to select title and type in your book title and then click search. You may also start by clicking on Advanced Search which brings you to a search form where you can enter more criteria such as the author name or year of publication.
On the next screen that displays search results, consider using "Adjust my results" to narrow your search. For example, you may choose to narrow by "Type of Material", click show more to see all options and then select "Books". You may also choose to narrow to "Full text online" only.
You may also use Library Search to search by Subject. Searching by subject allows you to retrieve relevant search results regardless of what terms are used in the title or description. In Library Search, click on Advanced and select from the dropdown Subject then enter the subject term in the text-box. Here are few example Subject terms that you may use in Library Search:
