The UA Libraries license hundreds of general and specialized databases that can help you find scholarly articles and clinical information. The major databases you will use include PubMed, CINAHL and Embase, which all cover many aspects of integrative health.

PubMed
For help getting started with PubMed, the tutorials below provide a great introduction. Search the MeSH heading database for "Complementary Therapies" for a robust list of possibilities.

CINAHL
CINAHL stands for the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. CINAHL has a large collection of nursing journals, so it's a great place to find nursing literature. Search the CINAHL Subject Headings for "Alternative Therapies" for a list of possibilities.

Embase
Embase has a wealth of journals that are not all covered by PubMed or CINAHL, and is particularly strong in coverage of integrative therapies, drugs, and medical devices. To get started with Embase, see the resources below:
