Managing NIH Public Access Compliance: Cite using PMCIDs

This guide explains the NIH Public Access Policy, the process for submitting peer-reviewed articles to PubMed Central and how to use NIH tools to manage and verify compliance.

Finding PMCIDs

Go to PubMed Central to find the PMCID/PMID/ NIHMSID Converter.

Submit one or a set of PubMed IDs (PMIDs) and get the corresponding PMCIDs and/or NIHMS IDs if they exist.

How to submit publications with the RPPR
