Introduction to EndNote

Need an easier way to manage citations?

We recommend EndNote. It's a citation manager that helps you collect and organize references and instantly format in-text citations and bibliographies when writing papers. You can download EndNote for free through a subscription provided by the UA Libraries.

  • Download a free copy of EndNote desktop software. Register using your UA NetID.
  • For a detailed video (Mac & Windows) about using EndNote at UA, see this Panopto video (24:35). To view the video in full screen mode, click the  icon at the top right of the screen.
  • Mac users, download the tip sheet below for steps that are necessary to follow after installing EndNote on your computer.
  • Learn more about the desktop version or the online version of EndNote.
