Study Spaces
Both Main and Weaver Libraries offer Wi-Fi, study rooms, and a variety of places to focus.

  • Reserve a study room for individual or group use.
  • Quiet study areas are on the 1st and 5th floors of Weaver Library.
  • For silent study, visit Main Library, room C318. (See the Main Library 3rd floor map)

If you’re off campus, access many of our resources online using your CatMail credentials. Explore e-resources throughout this guide.

Physical items (books, journals, etc.)

Holds & Pickups for Physical Items

You can request books and materials from all University Libraries locations—including interlibrary loans.

  • Request items online in advance.
  • Wait for an email confirmation before coming to pick up your materials.
  • Pickup is available in the Main Library lobby. For the most up-to-date library hours, please visit the UA Libraries main page.
  • Service is available to enrolled students and University employees with a valid CatCard.

 

Borrow technology

Borrow most technology items for 21 days. 

We allow technology renewals on a case-by-case basis depending on availability. PC laptops auto-renew every 2 weeks up to 147 days as long as your account is active and has no fines or restrictions.
