Request a book by mail (if you live more than 30 miles from the University in the continental United States. Be sure to enter your mailing address and choose "Home delivery" as your pickup location before requesting materials.)
UA students can also check out print materials from ASU, NAU, and Pima Community College at no cost. Just bring a photo ID and proof of registration.
Ground Yourself in Educational Leadership Research Practices
The following configuration may be needed to access UA-subscribed content from off campus:
1. In Google Scholar, open the "hamburger" menu in the far upper left next to the Google Scholar logo and select "Settings.
2. From the settings menu, select "Library links".
3. Type "University of Arizona" in box and select "University of Arizona - Full-Text @ UofA Libraries". Then click Save.
4. When searching, articles for which we have full text access will display with a link "Full-Text @ UofA Libraries"; select this link to access it. (Please note that this link may be hidden in the smaller links below the citation, and you may need to click on the double arrow to the right of them to find it.)
5. To export citations to a bibliography manager, such as RefWorks or EndNote, go to the Settings menu, click on "search results", select the desired manager in the drop-down menu next to "show links to import citations into", and Save.

Google and Google Scholar
Google can be a simple, free, initial step in plagiarism detection.
To run a quick check, paste a sample of the passage that you are working with into Google’s search box. If there is a match with website content, a link to the source will be provided. To detect plagiarism from scholarly works, enter the samples of passages that you'd like to check into Google Scholar, which links to many scholarly databases. The Writing Skills Improvement Program (WSIP) was established over 30 years ago in order to help students at the University of Arizona improve their writing skills and achieve academic success. Workshops, writing groups, tutoring and editing services are available through this program.
