Beginning on Monday, May 16th, the Law Library will move to summer hours. College of Law students, faculty, and staff will continue to have 24/7 access via CatCard. Librarians and Fellows will be available for reference questions Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The Circulation desk will also be staffed from 8am to 5pm. No coverage on weekends

All Students!

We are here for you during the summer.  If you need help with more in-depth research assistance or with citations, don’t know how to start researching a project at your summer job, or not sure how to use a database, please email your questions to AskLawRef at  Staff monitors this account Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Westlaw and Lexis Access

Have any questions regarding your summer access to Westlaw or Lexis? Please refer to this LibGuide: Summer and Post-Graduate Access to Westlaw, and Lexis

Don’t Forget!

The Law Library recently acquired two new Scannx touch-screen friendly scanners. One scanner is located on the main level of the Law Library, across from the WEPA kiosk and left of the copier.  A second scanner is in the library’s lower level next to the other WEPA kiosk. If you have questions about how to use the scanners, please ask the friendly folks at Circulation for assistance.

We also recently acquired a MeeScan self-checkout system which is located across from the circulation desk. This allows students to checkout course reserves and other circulating materials in the library when circulation staff are not available. To use the system, all you need is a CatCard and the book to loan out. Instructions for using the MeeScan self-checkout system are displayed next to the machine.
