Arizona Practice Materials

A brief guide to Arizona practice materials.

This guide covers sources of practice materials specific and related to Arizona, including continuing legal education publications, handbooks, manuals, treatises, law reviews, journals, legal newspapers, and directories.

The lists are categorized by broad subject. Unless noted otherwise, the materials are available in print in the law library.

Online access to these materials varies. Some are available freely. Others are available only through a subscription database such as Westlaw or Lexis Advance:

Westlaw provides online access to its print Arizona Practice Series and Arizona Legal Forms books. You can also access Arizona Pattern Jury Instructions (Civil & Criminal), Arizona Jury Verdicts & Settlements, Arizona Form Finder, and Practical Law-Arizona on Westlaw.

Lexis Advance provides online access to many of the State Bar of Arizona publications, as well as Arizona Pattern Jury Instructions (Civil & Criminal), and Arizona Jury Verdicts & Settlements.

The State Bar of Arizona offers publications addressing more than 20 areas of law practice written by hundreds of experienced and respected practitioners, judges, and professionals. You will find a full catalog of publications, as well as electronic documents, and self-study DVD rentals are available, as well as Continuing Legal Education (CLE) materials on the State Bar website. The Law Library maintains a collection of the print materials available from the State Bar of Arizona.
